I am the website manager and we have such fun shows on our schedule it's ranging from book shows from last year, classical music shows , indie shows and even match day reports. Here at our radio we have a variety of people and tastes making us a very inclusive radio team and it being such a fun environment in the studio!

I am starting a Moore news team tomorrow with Darcy our socials (communications officer) which. should be fun so if you are reading this you should come along tomorrow at 4 as Im conducting the meeting! I study journalism here at Liverpool John Moores and I genuinely think it works so well with radio as they bounce of each other!

Im trying to get news stories at the moment and its quite tricky (harder than I thought ) but im working in a team and its going well so far I have this meeting with a socialist group tomorrow which should go well and I am on track for my news writing.

In Liverpool a lot of students live in the Smithdown area and it's quite fun and lively. Due to it being full of students it can be nice to feel apart of a community with everyone going to the Brookhouse regularly which is a student pub here in Liverpool for those reading who have never been and it does a good cheap pint!

Finally the last part of my chaotic blog is that I am looking forward to halloween, I love dressing up its so fun and ill tell you more about it next week when I have all my costumes prepared ( yes that is multiple)

PS: My radio show is this Thursday at 2pm so make sure you're free and listening!

I am going to be doing a series of blogs here while at University and this is my first one so bare with me as it might not be the best work I've done.

I know this is meant to be weekly but in the past few weeks I have done so much including going out during freshers week ,starting my new modules and even just getting to understand how to edit and update this website and trust me its not been as easy as you would think. As a journalism student I thought it would be a good idea to do these blogs and help myself get back into writing. Here at Moore student radio I am trying to start a news team and anyone apart of the society can join and contribute to either blogs or news like I'm doing right here (quite informally).

Anyways, going back to my freshers week I hope any of you readers saw myself or anyone else apart of the committee at the Freshers Fair a few weeks ago which genuinely feels like last week. Since starting second year university has flown by and I'm enjoying getting back into the flow of it , that includes my new modules and one even involves editing a website and uploading news stories so at least its got something in common to being apart of the radio committee. I enjoy all of them and feel like I'm being taught important things and I'm just excited to spend more time with my course mates as well.

The applications for a show end this Friday and I'm excited to see when my show will be and excited to be in the studio again live on air! I am also very excited to meet the new members at the social tomorrow at Woody's at 7pm , if you're reading this before then make sure to pop down at that time and get ready to sing your heart out.

Doing this is more daunting than I imagined as I want it to be more engaging but I am genuinely just trying to get back into the flow of writing. I will definitely do a blog or news story on top things to do in Liverpool so you freshers or anyone reading can try them out and let myself or anyone on the team know how your finding Liverpool. If you need any support come into the studio have a chat we are very friendly.

This was just a quick start up blog and I cant wait to write next weeks!
